*****

Earlier today, the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education issued a statement denying rumors that classes will be suspended until Friday, August 10 2012. It looks like they spoke too soon.

MERALCO has also denied rumors circulating via SMS (this writer is one of the recipients) that a Luzon-wide brownout will be happening soon. Fear-mongering at this time is certainly not appreciated.

PS: According to MMDA, the number coding scheme will not be enforced tomorrow. Makati City followed suit.

    1. Hi. They announced it through their Twitter account. They said the suspension is necessary because they want to contribute to relief operations for the next four days.
