Radyo Veritas 846 launches #DahilKayLoloKiko social media campaign

In his five days in the Philippines, Pope Francis earned the admiration of Filipinos from all walks of life for his humility, kindness, and simplicity.

Now that Pope Francis’ Apostolic Visit to the Philippines has concluded, it is important for us Filipinos not only to continue cherishing the said historic event. It is also essential for us to take the time to reflect on what the message he brought meant to our lives.

With this in mind, the Church-run Radyo Veritas 846 is launching the #DahilKayLoloKiko social media campaign.

The objective of this campaign is to make Filipinos share their respective “Papal Visit resolutions” using the hash tag #DahilKayLoloKiko (e.g. #DahilKayLoloKiko, ako ay magiging mas matulungin sa mga mahihirap).

“We all know that Filipinos, especially the youth, use the social media to share their thoughts on everything. Here, we are giving Pinoys the chance to share their Papal Visit resolutions to the entire world,” Radyo Veritas social media administrator Mark Pere Madrona said.

Interested individuals can download the fan sign template through Radyo Veritas’ website and social media accounts. They will write their resolutions through that fan sign.

“Participants should have pictures of themselves while holding those fan signs. Selfies are very welcome!” Madrona added.

For her part, Nina Tablan-Villarete, Radyo Veritas’ PR officer, said she is hoping that the public will support this project.

“This is a way for Filipinos to show that they truly reflected on the message Pope Francis shared to us and that they are committed to making those lessons a part of their lives,” according to her.

The deadline for the submission of entries is on February 2, 2015, Monday. Radyo Veritas will pick the twenty best entries from all entries received. Netizens will then get to decide the top ten entries through an online vote.

The winning participants will receive exclusive Pope Francis merchandise from Radyo Veritas. Interested participants are invited to visit www.Veritas846.ph and the station’s Facebook and Twitter page for the complete mechanics. #

  1. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  2. certainly like your web site however you need to test the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to inform the reality however I’ll certainly come again again.|
