UPDATED 10:20 a.m. – Reigning Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Shamcey Supsup has advanced to the Top 5 of the Miss Universe 2011 pageant being held at the Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The other top 5 candidates were from Ukraine (Olesya Stefanko), China (Luo Zilin), Brazil (Priscila Machado) and Angola (Leila Lopes).
Filipino singer and actress Lea Salonga is one of the nine telecast judges in this year’s Miss Universe pageant. Aside from Salonga, the other judges are Hélio Castroneves, Connie Chung, Isabeli Fontana, Vivica A. Fox, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, Farouk Shami, Italo Zanzi, and Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega.

MANILA, Philippines – Shamcey Supsup, reigning Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011, made it to the top 10 of the 59th Miss Universe pageant held at Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The main event is hosted by Bravo’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development Andy Cohen and “Today” correspondent Natalie Morales.
The top 10 Miss Universe bets are in bold:
