2013 Metro Manila Film Festival official entries bared

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced today the eight official entries to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The annual film fest is expected to run from December 25 up to the second week of January, 2014. See the list of winners in last year’s event here.

1. “10,000 hours” starring Robin Padilla by Philippine Film Studio Inc.
2. “San Pedro Calungsod, Batang Martir” starring JM De Guzman (Hubo Productions)
3. “Boy, Girl, Bakla, Tomboy” featuring Vice Ganda and Maricel Soriano (Viva Films and Star Cinema)
4. “Please Be Careful with my Heart” starring Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria (ABS-CBN Film Productions)

5. “Pagpag” featuring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo (ABSCBN Film Productions, Skylight Films, and Regal Films)
6. “Kimmy Dora Prequel” featuring Piolo Pascual and Eugene Domingo (Spring Films, Inc.)
7. “My Super Kap” top-billed by Bong Revilla and Toni Gonzaga (Imus Productions Inc.)
8. “Torky and my Little Bossing” starring Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino (Octoarts, MZET, Apt, and Kris Aquino Prod)

  1. All the movies sound great! I am happy to see Maricel Soriano in a new film. One of the first Filipino films I ever saw was way back in 1987, “Jack en Poy,” with Maricel Soriano and Roderick Paulate. A real blast from the past.
