Metro Manila as well as its nearby regions are experiencing occasional heavy rains this Tuesday morning due to a low pressure area near east Luzon.

Because of it, a number of class suspensions had been announced:

Earlier in the day, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) placed Metro Manila as well as the provinces of Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan, Bataan, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite and Quezon under yellow rainfall alert.

Areas under the yellow rainfall warning can expect 7.5 to 25 mm. of rainfall per hour for three hours. Flooding can be expected in low lying areas.
