#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for June 13 2018

(As of 6:30 AM)

Local government units in several areas have announced the suspension of classes in their respective areas for today, June 13, because of torrential rains triggered by the southwest monsoon or habagat.

In its weather forecast released 11:00 PM of June 12, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration raised the yellow rainfall warning in the provinces of Bataan and Zambales. Flooding can be expected in low-lying areas in those provinces.

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains can be expected in Metro Manila, Batangas, Cavite, Tarlac, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, and Pampanga. This may persist from two to three hours.

It is certain that other LGUs will be basing their decision regarding possible class suspensions tomorrow on PAGASA’s weather bulletins to be released later today. This post will be updated if and when such announcements are made.
