Leni Robredo joins presidential race – #BotongPinoy2022

Vice President Maria Leonora “Leni” Robredo is joining the 2022 presidential race. Robredo made the announcement during a press conference held in her official resident in Quezon City Thursday morning. She made her declaration with just a day left before the deadline of the filing period for candidacies.

As of October 7, the major personalities that have already filed their candidacy for president are Senator Manny Pacquiao, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Senator Panfilo Lacson, and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte, the frontrunner according to published surveys, has so far declined to run and has instead filed for re-election to her current position.
