National Teachers Month theme 2017 – “Gurong Pilipino: Kaakbay sa Progreso”
The Philippines began its annual celebration of the National Teachers Month (NTM) last September 5. It will run until October 5, which has been declared by the United Nations as World Teachers Day. This month-long celebration was started in 2011 as mandated by then-President Benigno Aquino III’s Proclamation 242.
