BUSINESS BUILDING BOOTCAMP: Next Level Entrepreneurship – #UPCGBBB2022

BUSINESS BUILDING BOOTCAMP: Next Level Entrepreneurship – #UPCGBBB2022

Are you ready to take your business to the next level?

As the pandemic continues to test the Philippine economy, there has been a great rise in the number of small home businesses, from home bakers to small clothing stores, and everything in between. In order to support the growing number of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country wanting to expand their home businesses, the University of the Philippines Consulting Group (UPCG) decided to create the Business Building Bootcamp (BBB).

First launched in 2021 as a series of workshops, BBB was conceived by UPCG, a university-wide student-run organization in UP Diliman, in its venture to propel business owners to new heights. In the same vein, this year’s BBB will be held on March 5 and 6 (Saturday and Sunday) via Zoom and will be exclusively live-streamed on a Facebook group for the participants. The bootcamp will cover the following topics: business planning, digital marketing and brand positioning, finance and accounting, legal matters, and corporate social responsibility (CSR), which will be led by prestigious industry experts.

More particularly, BBB 2022 will offer insights into the entrepreneurial mindset, business modeling, market research, and trends analysis. The talks and workshops will also address questions such as what to consider when building a brand, and which tried and tested strategies are most likely to deliver the best results. Aside from these, there will be discussions on bookkeeping and financial management especially during the pandemic, legal responsibilities of running a business, and the integration of CSR. An open forum in between each talk and workshop will be done for the participants to freely raise their questions.

See you there!
