LATEST PUBLICATION: “At the edge of the metaverse in teaching and learning: An interdisciplinary conversation” via Springer Nature
I am thrilled to share that the book chapter titled “At the edge of the metaverse in teaching and learning: An interdisciplinary conversation” which I co-authored has been published in Springer Nature’s “Application of the Metaverse in Education” last night. This is part of the company’s “Smart Computing and Intelligence” book series.
This is my first-ever co-authored international publication. My portion in this book chapter focuses on the possible implications of metaverse in history education.
Here’s more from our abstract: “This chapter presents an autoethnographic analysis of our insights as higher education practitioners in an open and distance e-learning (ODeL) university. Our conversations revolved around how we view the Metaverse as a learning space that might afford the most significant competencies in our fields and how we envision the future of education in view of this.”
