#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for September 13 2017

Tropical depression “Maring” is expected to continue bringing rains Metro Manila and nearby provinces as it makes it way through Central Luzon.

According to the 5:00 PM weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), “Maring” now carries maximum winds of up to 60 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.

Based on the same report, “Maring” was last located at the vicinity of Calumpit, Bulacan. It is moving west-northwest at 15 km/hr. PAGASA raised flood warnings for Metro Manila, Bulacan, Zambales, Pampanga, Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Batangas, and Cavite. These areas can experience light to moderate with occasional heavy rains with gusty winds.

The state weather bureau likewise placed twelve areas under signal #1. As a result, several local government units have announced the suspension of classes in their respective constituencies for tomorrow, September 13, 2017:
