#WalangPasok – Work suspensions for 26 September 2022 due to super typhoon Karding

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. has announced the suspension of classes in all levels as well as work in government offices across Luzon – covering regions I, II, III, IV, V, and Metro Manila – as recommended by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Local government executives in certain areas have also announced work suspensions for 26 September 2022 because of the onslaught of super typhoon “Karding” (international name: Noru).

Keep in mind that more often than not, the announcement of these local government executives only cover those working in government offices. The suspension of work in private offices are typically left to the discretion of their respective managements. The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post when new information becomes available.

Acting Chief Justice Marvic Leonen announced that work in all offices under the Judiciary Branch in Regions II, III, IV, and Metro Manila will be suspended for this Monday. Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri also announced the suspension of work in the Senate followed suit.

Meanwhile, the local government executives in the following areas also announced work suspensions in all government offices for September 26 except those involved in disaster response, law enforcement, and the like.
