#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for October 16 2023 due to transport strike

(UPDATE, 9:30 AM)

A growing number of local government executives as well as education institutions have announced the suspension of face-to-face classes for October 16 and 17, 2023 (Monday and Tuesday) because of the planned transport strike led by the group Manibela.

This stems from their opposition to what they perceive as the government’s plan to phase out public utility jeepneys as well as rising fuel prices. The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post when new information becomes available.
