  1. My kasambahay does not have a copy of her birth certificate. She is 20 years old and will vote for the first time. All she has is an ID issued by the VIllage association where we reside. Will she be able to qualify for a Voters’ ID?

    1. Hi, Ciel. I don’t think this typo will be used to bar your from voting. Nevertheless, baka mahirapan ka gamitin yung Voter’s ID mo for other purposes (e.g. applying for a passport) dahil hindi match yung address. Then again, matagal pa naman bago mo makuha yung ID. 🙂

  4. May be we should consider some of the people who actually didn’t notify on the last date of the registration especially on the rural areas. We must also consider the volume of the registrants; some had experienced voluminous transacting public that took some to go home instead of staying and waiting for their turn. Thank you!

    1. So you’re basically saying that the registration period must be longer. To be fair to the COMELEC, their voter registration drive has been going on for two years now. It is also the people’s responsibility to look for information regarding this.

    1. Hi, Gissele. Again, hindi po ako taga COMELEC so I can’t give you any specific information.

    1. Sir Roberto, I edited your comment to leave out your contact details. Hindi po ako taga-COMELEC pero from what I know, it takes time po bago ma-update yung database ng COMELEC so maybe give them a month or two pa po. You can always contact your local COMELEC office, of course.
