#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for 15 June 2023 due to magnitude 6.3 earthquake in Batangas

A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Southern Luzon this Thursday morning, 15 June 2023. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or PHILVOLCS, the epicenter of the earthquake was at 13.77°N, 120.51°E – 015 km S 64° W of Calatagan, Batangas and it was felt in different parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.

Following the earthquake, some local government units have announced class suspensions in their respective areas.

ALL LEVELS

  • Laguna
  • Balayan, Batangas
  • Calagatan, Batangas
  • San Jose, Batangas
  • Alfonso, Cavite
  • Bayambang, Pangasinan
  • San Beda University (Manila and Rizal campus)

UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  • Pasay City (Up to senior high school)
