#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for November 17 2023

Classes in certain local government units around the country have announced class suspensions for November 17, Friday, due to heavy rainfall intensified by shear line and the northeast monsoon or amihan.

Meanwhile, classes are suspended in other areas because President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. declared the day as a special non-working holiday in these places.

The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if and when new information becomes available.

  • Bohol

Aroroy, Masbate – Special non-working holiday in connection with the municipality’s foundation anniversary
Carmen, Surigao del Sur –
Special non-working holiday in connection with the municipality’s foundation anniversary as per Marcos’ Proclamation 344 
Santa Barbara, Iloilo –
Special non-working holiday in connection with the anniversary of “Cry of Santa Barbara” as per Marcos’ Proclamation 398

UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Negros Oriental
  • Talisay City (public schools only)
  • Barili
  • Minglanilla
  • Liloan
