SSS pensioners to receive cash gift starting 1 December 2023

Pensioners of the Social Security System (SSS) will be able to get their respective cash gift or 13th month pension for 2023 starting December 1, Friday.

In a statement posted on social media by SSS, the cash gift of those who receive their pension during the 1st up to the 15th of each month will be credited by December 1. Meanwhile, those who get their pension during the 16th up to the 30th of each month will receive their cash gift this December 4, Monday.

According to Attorney Sau Mapalo, the spokesperson of SSS, the cash gift is equivalent to the amount received by SSS pensioners each month and is tax exempt.
