#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for January 16 2024 due to transport strike

(UPDATED as of JANUARY 15, 12:00 AM)

Face-to-face classes in certain local government units and education institutions may be suspended for January 16, Tuesday, after transport groups Malayang Alyansa ng Bus Employees at Laborers (MANIBELA) and Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) announced that it will stage a nationwide protest caravan on the said day.

This is once again reiterate their opposition to the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program. The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if and when local government units and other educational institutions make similar announcements.
