#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for February 3 2024

Classes in several local government units (LGUs) are suspended for February 3, Saturday.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City announced that classes in all levels, both public and private schools on are suspended on the said day to give way for the 2024 Panagbenga Festival Grand Parade.

Meanwhile, February 3 has been declared as a special non-working holiday in Biñan City, Laguna as stipulated in Proclamation 444 by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. This is in commemoration of the city’s 79th Liberation Day from the Japanese invaders.

February 3 is also a special non-working holiday this year in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija in celebration of its 74th foundation anniversary. This is mandated in Proclamation 424 that Marcos signed last December.

The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if other LGUs make similar announcements.
