GMA 7’s primetime queen Marian Rivera will be a mentor to three extremely lucky ladies who’ve been chosen by Maxi-Peel Skin Care to embark on a 30-day journey to self-renewal.
Speaking to StarTalk host and entertainment columnist Ricky Lo, the actress and soon-to-be Mrs. Dingdong Dantes said being part of “Bagong Ganda, Bagong Pag-asa” is one of the things she is really looking forward to.
Maxi-Peel helps its users remove their old dry skin to reveal a fresher one. By using the said beauty product throughout the challenge, the three selected ladies will not only have a chance to achieve skin renewal, but also the opportunity to overcome whatever inhibitions that are bothering them.
“Gusto namin tulungan ang mga kababaihan na magkaroon ng kumpiyansa sa sarili nila, lalo na yung mga takot sa pagbabago. Gusto namin tulungan na lumabas yung natural na ganda nila,” Marian explained to Ricky Lo.
“Ako mismo humarap sa kanila. Nakipagkuwentuhan ako sa kanila. Nalaman ko ang mga problema nila at ang mga pagbabagong gusto nila,” she added, pointing out that the three selected ladies have had skin concerns for most of their lives.
Marian says that as the girls’s mentor, she will do everything to stress that physical beauty should always go hand-in-hand with inner beauty.
“Gusto namin sabihin sa kanila na ang gandang ito ay di lang pang-labas kundi ang importante rin ay panloob,” the actress said.
“Bilang bahagi ng Maxi-Peel gusto ko ibahagi yung experience ko,” pointing out that the beauty product has helped change the lives of thousands of Filipinas who’ve used it over the years.
According to Marian, the selected ladies will be revealed on Unang Hirit soon. Viewers will also have the chance to know them better when they appear on her eponymously-titled variety show Marian.
More details about the “Bagong Ganda, Bagong Pag-asa” project will be posted through Maxi-Peel’s Facebook Page in the coming days.
