#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for 1 September 2023 due to #HannaPH

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has announced the suspension of classes in all levels as well as work in all government offices for 1 September 2023, Friday. This is in anticipation of the enhanced southwest monsoon rains caused by severe tropical storm “Hanna” (international name: Haikui). The announcement was made through Memorandum Circular #30 of 2023.

As of Thursday evening, several local government units around the country have likewise announced class suspensions in their respective areas for tomorrow. The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if and when necessary.
