THANK YOU! – The Filipino Scribe hits 12 million total page views

The news blog The Filipino Scribe recently reached another milestone – having 12 million total page views as of August 2023!

It feels so fitting that this highlight was achieved five months after the website marked its 12th year anniversary last March 2023.

This wouldn’t be possible without the readers of TFS, so let me say my sincerest thanks to all of you! I am glad to serve the public by sharing accurate information about class suspensions, holiday proclamations, and the like in a timely manner.

Nevertheless, I am feeling bittersweet since this achievement came just before academic year 2023-2024 officially begins. I have to once more balance my roles as a teacher and as a PhD student and everything else in between, which means that I will have less time to write for this website. Despite that, I will do my best to continue writing here.

Two years ago, I was able to self-publish a book compilation featuring selected articles from The Filipino Scribe as well as my other writings. Could there be a second volume soon? ABANGAN!
