Carl Balita, veteran educator and media personality, announces Senate bid – #BotongPinoy2022

Veteran educator, entrepreneur, and media personality Carl Balita is throwing his hat into the political ring after confirming his candidacy for senator during the 2022 national elections.

Balita will take his oath as the newest member of Aksyon Demokratiko Monday afternoon (September 27). The newly-reinvigorated political party is fielding Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso as its presidential candidate with medical doctor and social media personality Willie Ong as his running-mate.

A licensed nurse and teacher, Balita is best known for being the founder of his eponymously-named Carl Balita Review Center or CBRC, which has branches across the country. He hosts a weekly show on DZMM titled “Radyo Negosyo” and writes opinion columns for Business Mirror. He has received recognition from the Department of Trade and Industry and Philippine Franchise Association over the years.
